These projects were a continuation of the Larsen Guzzler Research study started in 2005 investigating chukar use of guzzlers.  This 3 year study was completed on 3/30/2010.  This study worked to develop a document of "Guidelines for Effective Placement and Use of Wildlife Water Developments: Identifying Differences by Species, Sex, and Reproductive Status".   These guidelines help managers construct wildlife water developments to provide the largest benefit to wildlife across all species, sex, and reproductive status.
